Louis Armstrong Book Cover - Part II
While creating this book cover I was able to use some of the latest techniques we learned to manipulate pictures and lettering by adding drop shadows and different colors. Although challenging at first these skills are great to have when working with the CS6 software. For the back cover I used a silhouette of Louisiana and then added an American flag. I thought this was fitting since Louis's nickname was Ambassador Satch, and he was from Louisiana. The rest of the project was a lot of resizing and playing around with text/picture options.

Jazz Book Cover Design - Louis Armstrong
Jazz
music has been in my life as long as I can remember. My Grandfather is a trumpet player so I would
either be listening to him or his favorite Jazz artist “Satchmo,” Louis
Armstrong. So for me, choosing Louis
Armstrong for a book cover was an easy choice.
Louis
Armstrong is the original King of Jazz and lived the American Dream, going from
rags to riches by doing what he loved.
He was not only an influence on music but also on American culture.

Autism Event Poster (Part 2)
Here's my final artwork for an Autism Event Poster. I found the magic wand helpful and used some other shortcut techniques more efficiently this time around. I downloaded a special font off www.dafont.com for my heading. Any feedback on this would be appreciated!
